Bitwig announces Studio 3.3.
Modularity means many things, but its main advantage is to offer the producer the right tool at the right time. Just as instruments are intended to offer expression without distraction, Polymer is a new instrument borne of that model. And along with the other updates, the aim is to extend and focus the musician’s workflow when doing sound design and editing.
In addition to Polymer, Bitwig Studio 3.3’s feature set also includes (but is not limited to): a new Wavetable module, two new Modulators, updated Devices and additions to The Grid, updated editing and workflow, new sound content, and much more.
Bitwig Studio 3.3 is now available and free to everyone with an active Upgrade Plan. Pricing is $399 for Bitwig Studio and $99 for Bitwig Studio 16-Track. From now through January 10th, 2021, you can save up to $100 via the Winter Special sale.
Antares introduces Auto-Tune Hybrid, created exclusively for Pro Tools.
In August, Antares launched Auto-Tune Unlimited, the most comprehensive subscription-based suite of vocal processing and pitch correction plugins, with the promise of free upgrades. Auto-Tune Hybrid is a key addition to this suite, available at no cost to Auto-Tune Unlimited subscribers.
Auto Tune Hybrid is designed to take advantage of Avid’s DSP-based hardware, giving Pro Tools users more processing power and delivering the ultimate Auto-Tune experience. Hybrid also works on native systems when Pro Tools users aren’t using DSP-based hardware. This makes Hybrid perfect for everything from mixing on a laptop to using Auto-Tune in real time in both the studio and live performances.
Auto-Tune Hybrid, which retails for $399.99, is included at no additional cost to subscribers of Auto-Tune Unlimited monthly or annual plans. Hybrid is one of many planned upgrades and releases to be included in Auto-Tune Unlimited, as Antares continues to add value for subscribers. You can subscribe to Auto-Tune Unlimited for $24.99/mo, or as an annual pre-paid subscription for $249.90/yr.

Celestion introduces the HornWizard app.
HornWizard is a new desktop and mobile application which is a portal to the company’s powerful horn design software. It has been developed to introduce systems engineers to Celesiton’s unmatched horn design capabilities. The app enables you to test a basic concept design, using just a few parameters, to determine whether a particular horn specification could work in practice. In the app, you can reliably verify designs, quickly adjust them with different parameters, and then view the results in a matter of seconds.
HornWizard has been created as a WPA (Web Progressive app), usable on both desktop and mobile devices. The app doesn’t contain any horn design software itself; it simply acts as a portal. You can input parameters that are processed by the in-house software with results then returned to the app interface.
HornWizard is available to download for free here.
